A busy month for Property24.com

It’s been a busy month for Property24.com’s Industry Specialist, Mari van Wyk. We look back at the headlines in consumer and property publications.

Fokus (Fokus interview continues) on SABC 2 invited Mari to join presenter Lynette Francis to discuss the very topical Rates Amendment Bill on Sunday, September 4th.

Property Professional, the Industry publication for estate agents, reported about the New municipal rates bill which will close doors for the property market in their September/October edition.

Property24.com gives tips to Idees magazine readers (Jou eie plek) page1, page2 & Ideas (Bricks & mortar) page1, page2 in the October issue. The article looks at whether property is still a good investment. Mari also gives tips on what to look out for when you do decide to invest in property such as:
• how to pick the right area
• working out how much money you need to borrow to buy the property
• working out how much it’s going to cost you (including rates, taxes purchase price, maintenance repairs etc)
• and what are the tax advantages and how to work out how much rent you can get.

And lastly, they were featured in SA Real Estate Investor Property Handbook 2011 page 1,  page 2 with the article: Make the Transfer Process stress free.
